Emillio O. Vega

Emillio O. Vega is a fashion designer and creative director with over 15 years of experience across ready-to-wear, bridal, fitness, and swimwear. Known for blending contemporary fashion with timeless elegance, his work is defined by refined craftsmanship, strong visual storytelling, and a deep understanding of diverse fashion markets.

Vega has worked with internationally recognized fashion houses including House of Wu, a global bridal company with a retail network of more than 1,200 partners across the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, the Middle East, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, with estimated annual sales between $50 million and $100 million. His work within the bridal industry has contributed to collections distributed on a large international scale.

He also served as Designer and Creative Director for LIZLÚ Bridal, where he shaped the brand's artistic vision and led the creative direction for its collections. His work included concept development, fabric and lace storytelling, silhouette design, and overseeing editorial campaign imagery that brought the brand's modern romantic aesthetic to life.

Earlier in his career, Vega worked as a designer for Alfred Angelo, contributing to several of the company's leading bridal collections. His work spanned major labels including Signature by Alfred Angelo, Modern Vintage, Sapphire, Disney Fairytale Weddings, Truly Yours, and Alfred Angelo Bridesmaids — categories that collectively generated annual sales of approximately $79.8 million, placing his designs within one of the most commercially successful bridal portfolios in the industry at the time.

Vega began his career after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and later expanded his design experience internationally with Brazilian women's label Gloss Army, where he developed contemporary fitness and swimwear collections that combined bold aesthetics with performance-driven functionality.

Throughout his career, Vega has built a reputation for moving fluidly across fashion categories. His ready-to-wear designs balance modern trends with wearable sophistication, while his bridal collections are recognized for their romantic detailing, intricate lacework, and modern silhouettes. His activewear and swimwear designs combine performance, comfort, and editorial design sensibility.

In addition to his work in fashion, Vega is also involved in film and television development as a creative director and costume designer, where fashion and visual storytelling play a central role in character and world-building.
